Youth Program

CSL Nashville is committed to providing an accepting, safe, and family-friendly environment where children and youth can express and explore their spiritual nature. This spiritual program engages and inspires by inviting the Divine potential in each individual to grow and expand.

A Welcoming Space for Growing Hearts and Minds

We believe that spiritual education begins early, and we're excited to offer a warm, engaging environment for children ages 2–12 every Sunday. Led by our dedicated Youth Director and child and family team, our youth program provides age-appropriate lessons that nurture young minds and spirits.

Each week, children explore meaningful teachings through:

  • Uplifting songs and music

  • Positive affirmations

  • Creative arts and crafts

  • Inspiring stories and readings

Our curriculum centers on love, inclusivity, and the power of our thoughts and words—helping children understand their unique value and connection to the world around them.

Jacqueline Carillo

Youth Director

Jacqueline Carrillo became a member of the Center for Spiritual Living in March 2024 and was elected Secretary of the Board in 2025. She is an active member of the community and serves in the Youth and Family Program, bringing care, curiosity, and commitment to the next generation.

An avid reader with a deep passion for spiritual development, Jacqueline was drawn to the Center through the Principles of Science of Mind and the teachings of Ernest Holmes. She is inspired by the understanding that spiritual growth is both personal and collective, and she approaches her service with enthusiasm, dignity, and a growth-minded vision as the Center enters its next chapter as a congregation.

Jacqueline is the proud mother of two wonderful children—Shakima Karima (23) and Eunice Karima (15)—and values community as an essential space for learning, service, and transformation. She looks forward to continuing to support, serve, and grow alongside this spiritual community.
