We are blessed with a dedicated team of staff and contracted professionals who help bring our mission to life. Whether through administration, music, technology, or spiritual leadership, each person contributes their gifts in service to our community.
Known for his grounded presence and inclusive leadership style, Rev. John blends spiritual wisdom with strong organizational expertise, drawing on a distinguished background in Chicago’s nonprofit and arts sectors, including executive and financial leadership roles at Writers’ Theatre, Urban Gateways, and the Goodman Theatre.
His ministry is rooted in the belief in each person’s innate wholeness and creative power, and he is deeply committed to building inclusive, heart-centered communities that foster spiritual growth, social equity, and meaningful transformation.
Rev. John Adams

Rev. John W. Adams is a compassionate spiritual leader, licensed Centers for Spiritual Living minister, and seasoned nonprofit executive with more than 30 years of experience guiding communities toward connection, purpose, and transformation.
Since 2018, he has served as Executive Director and spiritual leader of Cityside Center for Spiritual Living in Chicago, where he offers Sunday messages, teaches classes, leads workshops, and oversees all aspects of community life, including operations, finance, HR, and development.

Brian joined Center for Spiritual Living Nashville in June 2025 as our Office Administrator. With a background in organizational coordination and administrative support, he brings both skill and heart to the daily operations of our center.
Brian approaches his work as a form of spiritual practice, helping the community flow with ease and maintaining a peaceful, welcoming environment for all who enter. His attention to detail and care for others help ensure that the practical side of CSLN reflects our values of harmony, service, and compassion.

Rekell joined Center for Spiritual Living Nashville in November 2023 as our Communications Coordinator. She brings experience in strategic communications, design, and community engagement, helping to ensure that information flows smoothly and meaningfully throughout our organization.Rekell approaches her work with creativity and intention, aligning her communications with CSL’s values of clarity, connection, and inclusion. She manages newsletters and website content, helping new visitors and longtime members alike stay informed and inspired.

David joined Center for Spiritual Living Nashville in August 2024 as our Bookkeeper. An experienced Corporate Paralegal, Risk Manager, Contracts Administrator and Bookkeeper, he brings expertise in Office/File Organization, Insurance, Contract Drafting and Review, and Financial assessments.David is also one of our CSL Practitioners. He integrates spiritual principles with practical excellence, ensuring that the organization's operations reflect our values of integrity, transparency, and conscious stewardship in service to our community.
David manages all financial records, processes accounts payable and receivable, prepares financial reports, and ensures compliance with accounting standards. If you have questions about your pledge, a donation, or reimbursement, please reach out to David.

CSL Nashville is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization,
and we are committed to transparency and community engagement.
Board of Trustees meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 6:30-8PM on Zoom and are open to the public. Community members are welcome to attend and may speak on action items during the meeting. All discussions are conducted in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order to ensure respectful and organized participation.
